The leather I use most is Pueblo, produced by the renowned Italian tannery Badalassi Carlo — famous for their artisanal vegetable tanning methods.

Vegetable-tanned leather is a natural, eco-friendly and chemical-free material. The tanning process takes about one month, compared to chrome tanning which takes only a single day. The long tanning time gives the leather strength, firmness and longevity.

One of the most beautiful characteristics of full grain leather is the patina it develops over time. Pueblo leather, in particular, patinates quickly: it becomes darker, smoother and gradually gains a subtle sheen.
